Canadian companies to build solid waste generation plants in Mongolia and China

CALGARY - Maple Leaf Reforestation Inc. (TSXV:MPE) announced Monday that it entered into a joint venture with CF Lacey & Associates to build and run solid waste power generation plants in Mongolia and China.

Calgary-based Maple Leaf will receive an operator's fee of US$50,000 per month while CF Lacey & Associates will act as technical developer and receive US$15,000 per month.

The length of the agreement was not released.

Victoria-based Lacey will spend US$300,000 to cover startup costs, and up to US$60 million to fund construction.
