Report: Vail Daily reporter John LaConte enjoys a mountain bike ride on the Two Elk Trail, which just opened to hikers and bikers last week. It had been closed for eight weeks due to elk calving. The Two Elk Trail can be accessed from Shrine Pass in eastern Eagle County or Sleepy Time Road on Vail Mountain.
