Mongolia seizes 16 medals at 2014 Asian youth chess championship
Young Mongolian chess players flaunted their skills at the 2014 Asian Youth Standard, Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship for age groups six, eight, ten and twelve. The eight-day long competition ended on Saturday and Mongolia seized 16 medals in total.
Mongolia won five gold, five silver and six bronze medals in blitz, rapid and standard chess categories.
B.Enkhlen of Baganuur District, who played in the girls U6 division, and Khangarid Sports Club’s player B.Mungunzul in the girls U10 division, excelled in the competition and were crowned Asian Youth Chess Champions.
