2014 Continental Cup International Youth Sports Festival crowns 25 champions in three sports
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The ninth-annual Continental Cup International Youth Sports Festival concluded Sunday afternoon, crowning 25 champions in baseball, soccer and basketball, played at venues throughout northeast Ohio.
This year's Continental Cup featured 3,200 athletes from the United States, Canada, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Kenya, Colombia, Indonesia, France and Greece. The 1,000 international athletes traveled a combined 50,000 miles to Ohio. The event contributes an estimate of $3.6 million in regional economic activity.
