Prosecutors to attend instructional course

Over 50 prosecutors from Darkhan, Selenge, and Bulgan provinces will take part in a special instructional course on Friday. That was announced yesterday by the head of research, instruction and cooperation at the State General Prosecutor’s Office, G.Buambatsogt. The course will be taught by Ed Winfrey, a Texas state court judge in the United States. The course will teach the prosecutors how to implement laws while observing human rights laws and constitutional law. There have been complaints about human rights being violated during criminal investigations and detainments in Mongolia. G.Buambatsogt said he hopes the instructional course will help end such incidents.
