MONGOLIA TO BE GRANTED MNT 640 MILLION AID FROM JAPAN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the frames of “Grassroot” grant program of Japan, financial assistance amounting USD 519,462 or MNT 640 million will be provided to Mongolia.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia, Mr. Takuo Kidokoro has signed an agreement on grant project to be carried out within the Grass root program in cooperation with nongovernmental organizations of Japan. The project is charted to reconstruct kindergartens in provinces, provide hygiene safety, improve education environment in order to contribute to the development of human resources of Mongolia.
Within the Grant aid program to be implemented by the Japanese nongovernmental organizations project, activities are run to promote socio-economic development of developing countries. Japanese “Safe Children” NGO that will carry out the project has been implementing many projects for the well-being of Mongolian homeless children and those who live in ger districts.
