CGI Group signs U.S. government contracts
Canada’s largest independent computer services company, CGI Group Inc., said Tuesday its Stanley Associates unit that focuses on U.S. government work has signed a $26-million contract to help process visa applications in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.
Another U.S. subsidiary will provide services to recover improper Medicaid payments in Ohio and also to support visa services for the U.S. State Department’s consular affairs bureau.
CGI will be paid an undisclosed amount from the proceeds of the improper payments recovered by the State of Ohio. CGI employees in Ohio will use the state’s audit system to identify and analyze medical and drugstore claims.
