8 NGOs to organize movement for release of B.Khurts
An NGO, Justice for Citizens, today held a press conference to announce that it would organize movement to press for the release of B.Khurts, the Administrative Chief at the National Security Council, from a British prison, where he awaits extradition to Germany. He is charged with abduction of D.Enkhbat from France in 2003.
Khurts himself has said that he would not appeal against the latest decision confirming his extradition. The Head of the NGO, Kh.Bat-Yalalt, however said their movement was not only for the release of Khurts but also to assert the sovereignty of Mongolia. Seven other NGOs have agreed to join the movement.
