In his opening remarks, the Ambassador Batjargal noted that Austria was the second Western country to acknowledge the independence of Mongolia, and added that the two countries have many commons such as both are landlocked countries with rich histories, sharing common democratic values. "In this respect, Mongolia has a heartily willingness to boost friendly ties and cooperation with Austria". In the context of the celebration of the anniversary, a Mongolian fine art exhibition opened in Vienna to be available for visitors till the end of this year. The exhibition is co-organized by the Austria Folks Bank and the National Society of Fine art collectors, in partnership with Mongolia’s Embassy in Vienna.
