ACADEMY OF SCIENCES SELECTS ITS VICE PRESIDENTS AND PRESIDIUM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's Academy of Sciences (MAS) elected its vice presidents, scholar-secretaries and presidium at its congress recently.

The congress has gathered members of the MAS, members of specialized academies, also directors and scholar-secretaries of scientific institutions and institutes.

As they have decided, an academician D.Regdel has been selected the first deputy president of the MAS, an academician T.Dorj--the vice president, and T.Galbaatar--the scholar-secretary.

By a majority of the MAS members, the academy selected its presidium that includes M.Enkhbold and R.Gonchigdorj, the Vice Speakers of parliament; Ch.Saikhanbileg, the head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government; D.Oyunkhorol MP; J.Amarsanaa, the head of the Constitutional Court; A.Galtbayar, a rector of the Mongolian State University; B.Jadamba, a rector of the Mongolian State University of Education; also academicians D.Ochirbat, B.Byambaa, D.Khaisambuu, and L.Khurelbaatar, a president of the "Monos" Group.
