MPP women gather in the Government House
About 1,000 women who are members of the MPP are attending a forum called “Women for Development - 2011” in the Government House on Friday and Saturday.
MPP Chairman and Prime Minister S.Batbold and Secretary General U.Khurelsukh are taking part in the forum and giving speeches. Also, the head of Social Democracy - Mongolian Women Union, MP D.Oyunkhorol, is reading a paper.
Social Democracy - Mongolian Women Union under the MPP is organizing the forum, in which the heads of party units in districts, soums, and aimags are discussing MPP platform issues.
Women members are also discussing a vacancy for a woman secretary that was created by the 26th Assembly of the MPP in 2010. Women members have nominated several candidates, including MPs D.Oyunkhorol and D.Arvin, head of the National Center for Children D.Altai, head of the Mongolian Women Union J.Erdenechimeg, and Bishrelt Groups President B.Undarmaa.
