Mongolia-Russia border commission discusses several issues
A Mongolia-Russia border commission held its tenth meeting in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday. Officially known as the Sub-Council of Border Areas Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Commission of Mongolia-Russia on Trade, Economics, Science, and Techniques, the commission met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The Mongolian delegation was headed by the Secretary State of the Ministry and the head of the Mongolian sub-council, D.Tsogtbaatar.
The Russian delegation was headed by Russia’s Deputy Minister of Regional Development and head of the Russian sub-council, M.A.Travnikov.
Delegates discussed cooperating in sectors affecting neighboring provinces and settlements, such as the agriculture, veterinary, and wood processing sectors.
The two sides also signed an agreement on border areas cooperation.
