SPEAKER ORDERS TO SOLVE PROBLEM WITH ELECTIONS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The parliamentary Standing committee on state structure will discuss on Thursday when exactly to run the parliamentary election and how much money is needed for it.

This decision was made by a meeting of the council of the State Great Khural held Thursday morning.
A final decision on the dates is expected to be made at a plenary meeting.

The Speaker D. Demberel told the Standing committee to hear a report from the General Election Committee (GEC) and to thoroughly talk to it about the election automatic system, "so that not to complain in future what the system can or cannot do".

Then the Speaker said the two factions should make decisions on whether or not to discharge Ts.Nyamdork from the post of Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, "and the Standing committee must pay its special attention to it".

On Friday, a plenary meeting of parliament session is expected to make a decision on a draft law on running the local elections as well.
