Young – but successful

The Dream Theatre was established on November 17, 2011 on the occasion of 80th Anniversary of Mongolian Drama. The Dream Theatre, consisting of a younger generation of performers, held its opening ceremony with their debut dramatic act – My Secret Son (MiniiNuutsKhuu), which received critical acclaim from the public. It is a work derived fromAlexander Vampilov’splay“Elder Son”which was first performed in 1969.

The debut was attended by many prominent figures in Mongolia including President of Max Group D. Ganbaatar, bands Outlaw and Motive, the head of the band KharSarnai,S. Amarmandakh, among many other singers and models.

Their recent play, “Life is a Gift” (AmidralUuruuBeleg) generated even more attention from the public and critics alike. This play was a very successful one indeed – it ran for over 40 days to a total of over 55,000 people.

They are planning a few more plays next year – fans and audiences who have been watching them cannot wait until they come back to the stage again.
