Eastern Oregon wraps up shoe box project
Needy children in the Philippines, Peru, Panama, Mongolia and Nepal will receive Christmas presents in shoe boxes from Eastern Oregon and the Tri-Cities region.
Operation Christmas Child “Shoe Box” project is sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organization. Its 2012 goal is to collect and distribute 100 million gifts worldwide.
