Inner Mongolia Coal imports in 11 months up by 16%

According to the Inner Mongolia Coal Industry Bureau, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the country's largest coal producer, saw its coal imports rise by 16.15% year on year to 20.62 million tonnes in the first eleven months, almost close to last year's total import volume of 20.70 million tonnes.

According to the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association, in the January to November period, China imported 245 million tonnes of coal, up 34.9% from a year earlier.
