“Formal Intensity: Australian Art Today” at Tsgaandarium
The Tsagaandarium Art gallery organizing “Formal Intensity: Australian Art Today” exhibition on September 1-15. The exhibition dedicated for the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relationsbetween Australia and Mongolia.
The exhibition revealed of leading Australian contemporary artists. The exhibition examines work which uses abstraction, color, repetition and other formal qualities, to express the artists" own personal and philosophical concerns.
The works presented, including videos, sculpture, photographs and drawings, use universal aesthetic qualities to explore new areas of inquiry. Together, the exhibition looks beyond rigid cultural histories, and towards dialogue, diversity and engagement.
