Prime Minister receives Turkish Deputy Premier
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Paying an official visit, a delegation headed by Mr. Bulent Arinc, the Deputy Premier and State Minister of the Republic of Turkey, was received Monday by S.Batbold, Mongolia's Prime Minister in the Government House.
The Premier congratulated the Turkish delegation on carrying out a public voting whether or not to amend the Constitution. He has wished the Mongolia-Turkey inter-governmental joint committee on economics and trade a success.
The Premier has noted that the two countries have an opportunity to deepen their ties and collaboration in economic, social and educational sectors, and has requested the Turkish side to pay an attention to co-implementing the "Orkhon Gobi" project.
In response, Mr. Arinc has said the historical relations and cooperation have been developing fruifully at present.
The same day, the Turkish Deputy Premier met with D.Zorigt, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, and with D.Battulga, the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development for sharing opinions on the bilateral relations and cooperation including a creating of a direct airline between Ulaanbaatar and Istanbul, developing of transit transportation, collaborating in energy sector and attracting the Turkish investors.
Turkey plans to sign a memorandum on assisting the military sector of Mongolia and exchanging military attaches.
Mr. Arinc wants Mongolia to pay attention to combating together terrorism and organized crimes, especially traffic in human, and to allowing Turkish citizens visit Mongolia on one-month visa-free condition.
S.Batbold has reaffirmed his official invitation for the Turkish Premier to visit Mongolia.
