Mongolia to introduce exchange of agricultural raw materials
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet has discussed and backed in principle a draft law on exchange of agricultural products and raw materials. When Ministers' proposals are included, the draft will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
The law is expected to lay a basis that lets put agricultural products and raw materials into economic circulation, implement standards for preparing, transporting and storing raw materials, provide producers with seasonally prepared raw materials.
In accordance with the bill, functions of the exchange are to regulate the trading, and set up at initiative of brokers and agricultural producers cooperatives will deal with primary treatment of products and raw materials in accordance with quality requirements.
