Mayor meets Chinese Ambassador
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city G.Monkhbayar met Monday Mr. Yu Hongyao, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia.
Beginning the meeting, the Mayor said Ulaanbaatar plans to establish its national park on a 670 hectares area. Mentioning that Beijing is experienced in urban development, construction and architecture and green objects, G.Monkhbayar has underlined that Ulaanbaatar wants to collaborate with Beijing in the above directions and to run gardening and environmental rehabilitation.
The Mayor has emphasized an importance of mutual visits of the capital cities' authorities to advance the bilateral friendly ties and collaboration.
In response, Mr. Hongyao has expressed his satisfaction with opening of representative office of Ulaanbaatar city in Beijing and expressed a hope that it will significantly contribute to widening the relations between the capital cities.
