Mongolia and Argentina to boost collaboration in agriculture
Deputy Minister of Industry and Agriculture of Mongolia Ts.Tuvaan and Javier Rodriguez, secretary of Argentina’s Political and Institutional Coordination and Agricultural Emergency, signed a cooperation memorandum on agriculture on June 16.\
In accordance with the memorandum, the sides agreed on conducting joint research in fields of mutual interest, increasing the production and productivity of agriculture originated food products, boost cooperation on directions to improve the standard and quality of export products, introduce cattle fattening technology, support the partnership of private entities raising cattle, improving cattle health, and developing vaccine production.
The memorandum was initiated during Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Budget Ts.Davaasuren’s working visits to Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay in March 2014, conducted in order to become acquainted with animal husbandry policy and operation in Latin America.
