Inner Mongolian crude steel output up by 16.7pct YoY in May
It is reported that crude steel production in the first 5 months of 2012 in China's Inner Mongolia region totaled 7.51 million tonnes, increasing by 9.6% YoY. In addition, crude steel output in Inner Mongolia in the month of May 2012 alone amounted to 1.63 million tonnes, increasing by 16.7% YoY.
Finished steel product output of the first five months in Inner Mongolia totaled 6.77 million tonnes, up by 19.7% YoY. In May 2012 alone, finished steel product output in the region reached 1.58 million tonnes, rising by 26.3% YoY.
