RESOLUTION ON BALLOT PAPERS APPROVED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ General Election committee /GEC/ approved resolution ¹ 127 on ballot papers. They made a decision that all ballot papers checked by vote counting machines will be considered as a valid .
If marks were made in other points than the front line of names of candidates and parties and coalitions, the ballot paper will be considered as an invalid. To ensure the implementation of the clause 23.4.5 of Law on automatic system for the election, the GEC also decided to make control counting at any two polling stations in every constituency after approval of election result resolution at the polling station committee by recounting the votes on the ballot papers which released from the automated counting machine. Control counting will be organized transparently by the count group set up according to the clauses 23.1, 23.2 of the law on Election automatic system under the control of election observers, and the result will be introduced to polling station committee.
