AMBASSADOR IN GERMANY ORGANIZED RECEPTION FOR DIPLOMATS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 806th anniversary of the Great Mongolian Empire and the 91st anniversary of the People's Revolution, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) B.Davaadorj organized on Monday a reception in Berlin.
This reception attracted over 150 people such as Eduard Oswald, a Vice President of the German Bundestag; Dagmar Enkelmann, head of the Germany-Mongolia group at the Bundestag; Christian Ruck and Ute Kumpf, Bundestag members; Ralf Brauksiepe, the Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs; Clemens von Goetze, a head of Directorate-General of the Political Affairs Office of the Federal Foreign Affairs; diplomats from the diplomatic corps in Berlin; Ts.Togoo, the State Secretary of the Mongolia's Ministry of Defense; and others.
Opening the reception, Mr. Davaadorj delivered a speech to the gathered. He mentioned that many measures were taken last one year within the bilateral relations, and emphasized that the Mongolia-Germany cooperation have been widening in all spheres. In his speech, he also underlined about a visit of the Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel paid to Mongolia last year as well as a state visit of the Mongolian President to Germany paid on March of this year.
At the event, the Vice President of the Bundestag Mr. Oswald expressed his sincere greeting to Mongolians on the anniversaries, and then satisfied with intensive expanding of the bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields with specific contents.
Within the reception, exhibitions of photos and paintings about Mongolia were mounted.
