A.P.TORSHIN: ELECTIONS ORGANIZED PROPERLY
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolians have organized the elections very well, said on Friday A.P.Torshin, the Deputy chairman of the Federal Council of the Russian Federation (RF) and state advisor to the RF.
Mr. Torshin is heading a Russian parliamentary delegation that arrived to observe parliament and Citizens' Representative Khural elections. Such a conclusion they made after having got acquainted with actions of ten electoral sub-committees.
At a meeting with N.Luvsanjav, a head of the GEC, Mr. Torshin said he is glad to see that no violations took place in the sub-committees during the voting. He underlined that Mongolia has gained impressive experience in running elections, and added that he will introduce the elections' procedure to Russia's authorities.
About 60 observers from the USA, Canada, Russia, UK, Japan and S.Korea worked here during the elections.
