President nominates new Deputy Prosecutor-General
The President has nominated Ts. Byambatsogt to be the new Deputy Prosecutor-General, in succession to B.Tserenbaltav who resigned on Thursday. Parliament will now discuss and approve the appointment.
Byambatsogt was born in 1958 in Ulaanbaatar and lives with his wife and child. He studied law at Tashkent University and Mongolian National University. He has worked at the Law Processing Department of the Ministry of Justice, as law adviser of the international geological expedition, as a prosecutor in Sukhbaatar district, as senior prosecutor in Bayangol district, as control prosecutor of the State General Prosecutor Board, as Chief of the Controlling Department of the State Center for Civil Registration (SCCR) and has been the Deputy Chief of the SCCR since 2009.
