Human Development Fund will ease debts for herders
The government is producing a draft law to ease the credit pressure on herders by using the Human Development Fund. Currently, the herders have around 57 billion MNT of debts borrowed from Khan, Khas and Savings banks. Most MPs are furious at this proposal of the Government. According to some MPs, herders voted for this proposal during the last winter and MPs wanted to approve a law to support herders from the Human Development Fund but the Government did not support the issue back then. The government is planning to send a draft law to the SGK and the Speaker of the Parliament which is what some MPs are furious about.
