About Preparation for "Sainshand" Industrial Complex
Cabinet members were told Tuesday about a preparation for establishing the "Sainshand" industrial complex by Ch.Khurelbaatar, a Head of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government.
Then, a Head of the National Committee of Development and Reform (NCDF) Ch.Khashchuluun was obliged to announce selections of general and legal advisors for the industrial complex's project. Mr. Khurelbaatar was ordered to alter the related laws and resolutions in order to create conditions for supporting the "Sainshand" industrial park and other industrial complexes by investment policy, to provide national enterprisers with opportunity to participate in the project, to intensify and control over the activities.
The "Sainshand" industrial complex will have factories of coke, ferrous metal, copper-smelting, construction materials and processing oil in a way of attracting private investments.
Dornogobi's Sainshand will become an environmentally-friendly modern city that meets all requirements of urban development with international competetive indusdrial complex, infrastructure, engineering and social welfare. It is required over USD 10 billion to implement within five years the project of the "Sainshand" industrial complex. The working group of the project considered as necessary to collect money for the project from several financial resources under some stages. It is important to erect the complex's factories linking with raw material resources, domestic and foreign markets, to prepare staffers and specialists and construct railways and other infrastructure.
The cabinet considered as necessary to select a high-experienced advisor to make conditions for constructing the factories with a proper technical and economic basis.
