MEC Appoints Dennis Carl Price as Chief Operating Officer
Mongolia Energy Corporation Limited (HKSE: 276) ("MEC" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that Mr. Dennis Carl Price ("Mr. Price") has joined the Group as Chief Operating Officer - Mongolia, effective May 14, 2010.
In his capacity as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Price will join hands with MEC's management team to further develop the Group's mining operations in Mongolia.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience and professional knowledge, Mr. Price will further strengthen MEC's management team by adding to it ample expertise in the technical and operational aspects of the mining business.
Prior to joining MEC, Mr. Price was the President of Price Management Consulting LLC, and has been providing consulting services for corporations in the mining industry around the world. Mr. Price has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry worldwide, including Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Columbia, Georgia, Germany, Indonesia, Turkey and the United States. Mr. Price was also formerly the General Director of the largest open-pit mine in Kazakhstan, and has extensive operating and
engineering experience in exploration and mining of coal, gold and various other minerals.
