MONGOLIANS WANT TO REGISTER NAT'L WRESTLING IN GUINNESS BOOK

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ About 4,000 wrestlers from the UB city and aimags have applied to participate in the biggest national wrestling competitions that aim to break a Guinness Record, said B.Tsogtbaatar, a secretary of Mongolia's National Wrestling Federation (MNWF) on Thursday. According to him, the draw for the first round will be announced Friday to last four days in the Wrestling Palace. The second round will continue for two days, the third for one day, and from 4th to 12th rounds--for two days. The organizers intend to publish an illustrated book about the competitions in order to confirm the record for the Guinness Record. Experts of the Guinness Record commission will arrive soon to observe the events. Outstanding national wrestlers such as B.Bat-Erdene MP, G.Osokhbayar, twice champion, and Monkhbat, an Olympic silver medalist, and other wrestlers of all generations will compete in the event.
