Government to deliver 2012 budget proposal to MPs

The Government will deliver the proposed 2012 budget to MPs after an unofficial meeting on Friday. By law, a budget must be delivered annually to MPs before October 1. Parliament is responsible for passing a budget before the end of December.

During the autumn session, MPs will also discuss a draft law on the 2012 election, and proposed changes to the 2011 budget. They will also debate state monetary policy.
