"CHINGIS KHAAN" WORLD CUP TO GIVE 100 POINTS FOR OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Judo Federation (MJF) will organize the “Chingis Khaan 2011” World Cup competitions for the third time in Mongolia. Winners of the World Cup that will run under auspices of the Mongolian President will be awarded with 100 points for the London Olympic Games, with gold medal. As of today, some 300 judoists of 22 countries have reported their willingness to partake in the competitions. In accordance with the rule of the International Judo Federation (IJF), the host country is able to have its four judoists compete in single weight category contest. To be held on September 10-11 in the Sports Palace near the international airport, the competitions will run at the men's and women's 14 weight categories.
