Beautiful Inner Mongolia-A Handicraft and Photo Exhibition

The China Cultural Centre in collaboration with the Mediterranean Conference Centre will hold an Inner Mongolia Handicraft Exhibition at Sacra Infermeria Hall at MCC from September 23 to 27, 2011.

Inner Mongolia Handicrafts Exhibition will be composed of Mongolian Chess, Mongolia Embroidery, Ewenki Birch Bark Utensils and Hanika (a traditional paper toy), most of which are recognized as national intangible cultural heritages. Four top level handicraft masters from Inner Mongolia, with their incomparable and consummate skill, will present live-demonstration of the manufacturing process of these handicrafts at Sacra Infermeria Hall. All the handicrafts items are for charity sale at most favorite prices. The profit will be donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund.

A paralleled photo exhibition entitled ‘Beautiful Inner Mongolia’ will show 40 beautiful photos at the handicrafts exhibition venue. These pictures which describe the plentiful biological resources, rich and varied human resources of the modern Inner Mongolia, will introduce the vast territory and infinite scenery of Inner Mongolia with prairie, forest, desert and lakes, and help audience to know better about the history and culture of the venerable and profound pastureland of Inner Mongolia.

The handicraft and photo exhibition will be on display at Sacra Infermeria Hall at MCC from September 23 to 27, 2011.
