Early detection is vital in the successful treatment of breast cancer. This can reduce the risks and help increase the odds if the cancer is present. If it’s detected earlier then it is more likely to be at a more treatable stage.
The warning signs of breast cancer are changes in the look or feel of the breast, a change in the look or feel of the nipple and/or nipple discharge.
An early symptom of breast cancer is often finding a lump, hard knot thickening inside of the breast. If this develops, you should go see a doctor.
Breast pain is rare but if you experience breast pain, it is not an early sign of breast cancer. In most cases, this is not a symptom or sign of cancer.
With the help of mammography screenings, most breast cancers are found at an early stage. Not all breast cancers are found through mammography, therefore, if you experience anything unusual, please consult a doctor.
