Speaker Z.Enkhbold visits Canada

The Speaker of Parliament, Z.Enkhbold, started an official visit to Canada on Monday March 25th.

On the first day of the visit the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, Andrew Scheer, received Speaker Z.Enkhbold.

During the meeting, the Speakers of the two countries expressed their satisfaction on the successful development of mutual economic and business relations. They also spoke of their wishes to expand cooperation into education, culture, agriculture and defense in the future.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold noted that the Canadian educational system is ranked one of the highest in the world and expressed pleasures to send Mongolian students to study in Canada.

Speaker Z.Enkhbold also asked Speaker Andrew Scheer to participate in the “Corporate Democracy Forum” as part of the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies that will be held in Ulaanbaatar between 27th and 29th April and invited him to visit Mongolia.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomacy between Mongolia and Canada.
