CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A regular consultative meeting was held August 16 in Bejing, China between department directors of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of China. The consultative meeting was led by O.Enkhtor, a director of the Department of Neighboring Countries of the Mongolia's Foreign Ministry; and Yang Yanyi, a director of the Asian Affairs Department of the China's Foreign Ministry.
At the consultative meeting, the sides discussed issues and shared views on bilateral visits, measures to be performed in end of 2010, and bilateral cooperation in spheres of politics, trade, economics, education, culture, science, defense and protection of civil interests. International and regional matters were considered as well. The two countries also exchanged opinions on plan of the bilateral collaboration in 2011-2012, and reached agreements on some issues.
Apart of the directors of the Ministry departments, present the consultative meeting were Ts.Sukhbaatar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People's Republic of China; Cai Wenrui, an advisor to the Asian Affairs Department of the China's Foreign Ministry; and other officials.
After the meeting, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Mr.Hu Zhengyue received a delegation of Mongolia led by Mr. Enkhtor.
