Hunnu Coal Ltd was placed in a trading halt on Monday, pending an announcement by the company.
The West Australian-headquartered miner told the Australian Securities Exchange that it expected to resume trading on Wednesday, May 26, or when the announcement was released to the market.
Hunnu Coal is focused on acquiring and developing coal projects in Mongolia.
It has a portfolio of exploration tenements spread throughout the various coal basins of the Asian nation.
The tenements are prospective for coking and thermal coals.
Hunnu Coal shares last traded at 61 cents on Monday.
