Polish pianist to teach Mongolians
At the invitation of the Polish Embassy in Ulaanbaatar and the Music and Dance College, Polish pianist Szczepan Konczal arrived in Ulaanbaatar on January 13.
He precedes other famous musicians to attend the F.Chopin and Mongolia in 21st Century International Piano Competition scheduled from February 23 to 28. Szczepan Konczal is planning to run a three-day workshop for students of the Music and Dance College.
Szczepan Konczal, 28, is a classical pianist who has already won high prizes in many international music competitions held in more than a dozen countries. He has performed with world-famous orchestras such as Sinfonia Varsovia, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Turkish Presidential Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra of South Africa, appearing in many venues in Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Japan and Canada. In 2010, he toured Turkey on May and England on June.
