Mongolian Judokas Disappoint in World Cup
Mongolian male judokas competed in Judo World Cup 2011, which took place in Warsaw, Poland on February 27-28, 2011.
Mongolians returned empty handed after losing their match at the World Cup.
In particular, Mongolian Kh.Tsagaanbaatar, top ranking 66kg wrestlers lost his bronze medal’s matches to Costel Danculea by wazari score in 73 kg weight category.
Benjamin Darbelet from France earned 73kg event’s gold medal.
In 66 weight category, Mongolian S.Myaragchaa took fifth place when he was defeated by Russian Kamal Khan Magomedov.
Armen Nazaryan from Armenia took gold medal in the 66kg weight division.
Also, B.Khishigbayar (66kg) and G.Odbayar (73kg) of Mongolia finished seventh place in the event and B.Ambaselmaa was selected the best eight judokas in 81kg weight class.
In addition, Mongolian National Judo Championship will run at new sport palace in Yarmag from March 11 until 13, 2011.
