Ministers brief President on aid to Japan
Deputy Prime Minister M.Enkhbold and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade G.Zandanshatar today briefed President Ts.Elbegdorj on Mongolia’s relief aid to Japan. State organizations have opened accounts to receive donation, and NGOs, individual citizens and humanitarian organizations, including the Red Cross, are also collecting money and material.
The President said media should not spread panic and wanted the most needed things, like warm clothes, boots and cashmere blankets to be dispatched quickly. Mongolia has already sent 13 rescuers to Japan and can send more.
