Speaker in France
Parliament Speaker D.Demberel is on a working visit to France. His first meeting there was with Senator and Chief of the French-Mongolian friendship group, Andre Vantomme, and with the head of a similar group in the Senate, Jan-Rene Leserf. The Speaker and his team also visited the village of Rubruk, the birthplace of the Franciscan monk William of Rubruk, who visited Mongolia in the 13th century.
The visit will continue until March 17. The Speaker is accompanied by MP and Chief of the Mongolian-French group at Parliament, Ts.Batbayar, and MPs S.Oyun, U.Enkhtuvshin and S.Erdene. Demberel will hold talks with State Secretary of Foreign Trade Affairs Pier Lolush, State Secretary of Foreign and European Affairs Pier Sellal and President of the National Assembly of France, Bernar Akkuye.
