Mongolia has traded with 96 countries
In the first two months of 2011, Mongolia traded with 96 countries. Total external trade turnover reached 1031.5 million US dollars, of which exports made up 415.9 million US dollars and import 615.7 million US dollars.
External trade balance showed a deficit of 199.8 million.US dollars in the first 2 months of 2011, while it was in profit of 15.9 million US dollars in the first 2 months of 2010.
Total external trade turnover increased 423.9 million US dollars or 69.8 percent, of which imports up by 319.8 million US dollars or 2.1 times, and exports up by 104.1 million US dollars or 33.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Mineral products, natural or cultured stones, precious metal, jewelry, coins, textiles and textile articles live animals, animal origin products, raw and processed hides, skins, fur and articles thereof accounted for 97.8 percent of the total export amount.
