Economic research institute founded
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An Economic Research Institute (ERI) has been founded at the School of Economics of Mongolia's State University (MSU) by the IRIS Center at the University of Maryland.
Running under auspices and financing of the World Bank (WB), the main objectives of the institute are to raise related topics with participation of researchers and to introduce results of the researches to the public and state, to organize contests among researches announcing short-term scholarship programs, and to perform high level researches accepted not only in Mongolia but also in international sphere.
For the time being, research works are about to begin regarding the connection between fund and currency policy in times of an awaited flow of high amount money into Mongolia and economic analyses over the legal regulation in the mining sector of Mongolia.
