Diplomatic credentials presented

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj received Tuesday diplomatic credentials from Mrs. Marta Ortiz De Rosas, the ambassador of the United Mexican States to Mongolia; Hernan Brante--of the Republic of Chile; Mr. Bheki Winston Joshua Langa--of the Republic of South Africa; and from Mrs. Joyce Mwaka Chembe Musenge--of the Republic of Zambia.


At the meeting held after the ceremonies, the State Head discussed issues with the ambassadors on the cooperation between Mongolia and the countries.

The diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Mexico were established in September 25 of 1975. The President Ts.Elbegdorj has said Mongolia has a willingness to widen the relations and cooperation with Mexico in frames of the open multi-pillar foreign policy, and underlined the countries have an opportunity to share experiences gained in the mining and agriculture.

The President has underlined Mongolia wants to deepen a collaboration with Chile in the spheres of mining, agriculture, education and environment protection. The two countries established their diplomatic relations in June 1, 1971.

The State Head has pointed out that the South Africa has a rich experience in the mining and agricultural sectors, and ephasized an importance of organizing mutual visits and business meetings for sharing views. Underlining an importance of forwarding the collaboration in frames of the United Nations, Ts.Elbegdorj has expressed a hope a UN meeting on global climate change will be held successfully in South Africa. The diplomatic relations between the countries were established in May, 25, 1994.

The President also has expressed a willingness to develop cooperation with Zambia.
