N.Altankhuyag meets with Foreign Secretary of Great Britain

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by N.Altankhuyag, the First Deputy Premier of Mongolia and chairman of the Democratic Party of Mongolia, has been received by Mr. William Hague, the Foreign Secretary of State of the Great Britain, in London, UK. The dignitaries have shared views on the cooperation between Mongolia and the UK and on the relations between the Democratic Party of Mongolia and the GB's Conservative Party (CP).

N.Altankhuyag has said Mongolia and the UK have a great possibility to widen their relations not only in the political frames but also in all socio-economic spheres. He has underlined that investments of USD four million made from the Rio Tinto Group has become a real support for Mongolia, and expressed a confidence that an upcoming visit of S.Batbold, Mongolia's Premier, to be paid to the UK in frames of the 47th anniversary of the Mongolia-UK diplomatic relations, will give positive effects on tackling many issues. Mentioning that no visit has been paid yet by a UK Minister to Mongolia since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the First Deputy Premier has invited Mr. Hague to Mongolia.

Mr. Altankhuyag has expressed his satisfaction with expanding of the traditional ties between the political parties. In his turn, Mr. Hague has thankfully received the above invitation and has said he considers as necessity to have a Minister of the UK or an official of the same level visited Mongolia. Mr. Hague has mentioned that a preparation has started for the visit of Mongolia's Premier, and expressed a hope that the bilateral cooperation will widen. He has said he is satisfied with expanding of the collaboration between the DP and CP, and added that the sides have an opportunity to more deepen ties by organizing trainings, seminars for members of the parties and in educational sector.

The First Deputy Premier has met with Mr. Andrew Rosindell MP, a member of the CP, who will be selected in the nearest future the head of the UK-Mongolia parliamentary group.
