Visit From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

In honor of the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Russia and Mongolia, delegates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation came to Mongolia. The Prime Minister of Mongolia received the delegates headed by Hiroyuki Konuma Visits Mongolia Vice-Minister A.I.Denisov of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on November 7.

The Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold stated at the beginning of the meeting that he was very grateful for the visit of the delegates on this date, which also marked the 100 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic service in Mongolia and 150 anniversary of the establishment of the Russian consulate to Ulaanbaatar.

He said that Mongolia values diplomatic relations between the two countries and he said that Mongolia is giving attention to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) with an interest in actively assisting economic cooperation of the SCO in Sankt-Petersburg. Likewise, Mr. S.Batbold expressed his gratitude to Russia, which for attending to the provision of petroleum from Russia to Mongolia.

A.I.Denisov expressed his gratitude to the Mongolian Prime Minister, who received them despite the busy work of the State Budget. In addition, he said that the Cabinet Leader B.I.Putin has sent a greeting to Mongolia. A.I.Denisov echoed the importance of the diplomatic relations and said he is supporting the interests of the SCO in Mongolia as well.
