SECOND PROJECT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED BY KOICA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The administration of Ulaanbaatar city is to implemented a project costing five million US dollars until the year 2013.


A contract on this work was inked on November 2 between Ch.Bat, a manager of Ulaanbaatar city and Kun Mu Hong, a head in charge of Central Asia and CIS department of KOICA and a Resident representative of KOICA to Mongolia Li Dong Gu.

A first project on renovation of the city's 44 water and heat transfer centers was realized in 2007-2009 at the Korean International cooperation agency's (KOICA) non-refundable aid of five milion US dollars. Thanks to it, as the 2010 survey says, water and electricity consuption went down by 20 percent.

In view of this, the UB city asked the KOICA to implement the second project--on renovating 42 such centers. The Koeran organization positively replied to it and decided to spend five million US dollars. "It will be implement until 2013," Mr. Li Dong Gu.
