REPRESENTATIVES OF DEMOCRATIC PARTY ATTEND MEETING IN LONDON

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation has taken part in the International Democrat union /IDU/ Party leaders eleventh meeting themed “Strengthening freedom, democracy in 21st century”.


It ran in London on November 10-11. The delegation comprised the deputy Minister and head of Democratic party /DP/ of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag MP, the head of Great Britain-Mongolia parliamentary group R.Amarjargal , and the DP members L.Erdenechimag and M.Jadamba.

At the first day, meetings were held of Standing committee on foreign policy and of executive council. A themed "World-wide financial ordeals-Conservative adherence” has been presented by David Gauke MP, the exchequer secretary to the Treasury of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and report named “Spring of Arab/ what will do Liberia?/”, “Social reform of crisis” have been discussed by the gathered.
The same day, the leader of the Conservative party, the British PM David Cameron received the representatives.

At the second day, party leaders convened to discuss some issues. Mongolia's Democratic party has increased its status becoming a full member of IDU. It has been confirmed by the DP head N.Altankhuyag's signature under the London declaration of 1983. Then he gave a speech “Strengthening freedom, democracy in 21st century”.

IDU was established in 1982 in London.
