MONGOLIA'S PEOPLE' PARTY DISCUSSES STATE BUDGET

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Some investment expense reflected in the united budget for 2012 must be cut.

About it was firmly decided as the Mongolian People's party (MPP) faction meeting on November 14, said the same day the faction head O.Enkhtuvshin.

According to him, the faction had discussed the draft law on the state budget for 2012 and decided in principle that the current expense must not be more than that of 2011. "To do this, we propose to freeze the construction investments except those for erecting schools, kindergartens and hospitals," he said.

As the faction considers, forozen might be, for example, 161 billion togrog for building new offices, 97 billion for buliding administration offices, 14 billion for buying new cars, and 47 billion for creating new vacances in the civil service, thus saving some 300 billion togrog.

At the same time, "we should not forget that six aimags have been allotted too little investments and that ways should be sought of increasing the money for Ulaanbaatar," Enkhtubshin said.
