Mongolian prosecutors to study in Canada

State Prosecutor General D.Dorligjav received the United Kingdom’s ambassador to Mongolia, Thorda Abbott-Watt, on Monday.

Thorda Abbott-Watt said the English government has decided to finance a “prosecutor exchange” with the State Prosecutors’ General Office of Mongolia, in cooperation with the International Association of Prosecutors.

The State Prosecutors’ General Office had requested the financing. Two prosecutors from Mongolia and their translators will go to Canada to study prosecutors’ organizational activity and prosecutors’ monitoring of criminal investigations, as well as other aspects of Canada’s judicial system.
